Is the CDC laboratory of NABL standards ?
A. CDC
is an ISO 9001 2000 Organisation with a laboratory operating
at NABL Standards.

Is there
a large menu of tests ?
A. Please
contact a customer service executive on Contact Us for further
information on our large menu of tests.
Q3.
Which tests require a patient to be fasting ?
A. Only
the Lipid profile, uric acid and sugar tests require a patient
to be fasting 12-14 hours before the blood sample is given.
Only water may be consumed.
Q4.
Are appointments required for a patient to give a blood sample
(i.e. blood test) ?
A. However
if you would like to just drop in without an appointment we
will do our best to ensure a quick and pleasant visit.
All home/office visits require appointments with details of
address and phone numbers and any nearly landmark.
Q5.
Are only disposables used ?
A. CDC
operates with the highest standards of quality, only disposables
are used to collect blood samples.
Q6.
Is there an MD Pathologist in charge ?
A. An
MD Pathologist as well as an American trained Lab Manager
supervise the CDC Laboratory.
Q7.
Are the reagents and equipments of the best quality in the
laboratory ?
A. CDC
prides itself on its high levels of quality and only the best
quality reagents and equipments may be found in the laboratory.
Q8.
Will the technician who collects my blood sample be wearing
gloves ?
A. It
is mandatory for all CDC Lab Technicians to wear gloves at
all times.
Q9.
Do the technicians who collect the blood sample speak English,
Hindi and Marathi ?
A. If
you are more comfortable in a particular language you may
request for a technician who is fluent in your tongue as CDC
Technicians speak English, Hindi and Marathi. We may be able
to help you with other required languages too.
